Keith Berger bought the print shop in 1983 just when big tech was starting to come out of their garages. The digital revolution brought quite a few changes to the printing industry and let’s just say the Cranky Press stayed a few steps behind the technology curve. But what we lack in fancy gadgets, we more than make up for with knowledgeable experience.

Today, we’re a vibrant, eclectic print studio offering a wide range of products and services from letterpress to modern digital printing. We specialize in the more nontraditional printing methods such as letterpress, screen printing, foil stamping, die cutting, and even Riso printing. We will help you choose the right printing technique that will best create your unforgettable piece. Our Salem, Ohio location, nestled between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, has been our home base for over four decades.
