LOOK MA NO BRANDS! – Part 1

Cheers to those who couldn’t settle for just a steady paycheck, but instead decide to go out on their own. Financial security be damned. The whole start-up budget goes to the necessary equipment to be the best at whatever it is they do. No money for fancy branding materials, just maybe some sales receipts and business cards and off they go.

Before there was Vista Print or Moo or whatever Google spoon fed you, you had to find a local printing company. Actually walk in and tell the printer that you wanted some business cards. The printer may ask what you do. Then show you a collection of standard engraved cuts to spruce up your card. These cuts hit all the main trades and services. General enough to mass produce but still give a sense of specialization.
